Irish traditional music at the Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel

Every Tuesday night the band Croi plays Irish traditional music at the Hibernian Bar.

And every Thursday night you can listen to Irish music at Morrissons Bar - with the band Uisce Beatha and Shanragh (starting 10:00 PM).

The 35th Annual Kilkenny Arts Festival
8th-17th August 2008

Kilkenny Arts Festival 2007 was a huge success! Ground-breaking theatre, music, literature, visual art, children's events and outdoor performances abounded, with record crowds attending over 100 events, featuring almost 300 international, Irish and local artists, in venues all over Kilkenny City and County, over the festival's 10 days and nights.

Now the focus is on the 35^th Kilkenny Arts Festival, coming up in 2008. The 2008 Kilkenny Arts Festival will take place over 10 days, from the 8^th till the 17^th of August 2008.
