Hibernian Bar is a casual dining alternative to City Bar & Grill and is open for morning coffee & scones, lunch, afternoon tea & cakes, an evening meal or simply a drink in the evenings. Similar to City Bar & Grill our approach is based on producing great bar food to the highest standards, whether it be a simple sandwich or a three course evening meal. Fresh scones & bread along with wonderful selection of desserts are available all day.

City Bar & Grill
Located in the heart of Kilkenny city, City Bar & Grill has been one of the most popular Kilkenny restaurants since it opened in 2000. Using only the finest and freshest local produce, we serve up modern and tasty food that has earned us excellent reviews from both customers and critics. To start feast on delicious Hibernian Seafood Chowder, Sauteed Dublin Bay Prawns in Garlic Oil or perhaps a fantastic Smoked Chicken Salad with Caramelised Peaches & a Raspberry Vingaigrette. Then for the main event choose from a variety of Sirloin & Fillet Steaks all of course served with Marinated Flat Cap Mushrooms & Home Cut Chips, Pan Fried Fillets of Plaice with Fondant Potatoes, Smoked Pancetta & Green Pea Sauce or Grilled Thyme & Lime Marinated Supreme of Chicken with Tabbouleh & Crème Fraiche Dressing.
