Stayed a the Hibernian with my partner [name removed] for three nights recently and was very impressed. Brilliant location with lovely clean rooms. The staff were excellent, friendly, super efficent and always well presented. They are obviously very happy in their work enviorn and it is clearly reflected. The food was delicious and clearly this is no secret in Kilkenny. We would look forward to coming back to the hotel bar for a drink anytime we were out and about. Really enjoyed the experience, it is great to see a job so well done. Looking forward to coming back already.

‘Lovely hotel with friendly efficient staff. There was not tea making facilities in the room but complimentary tea delivered to the room on demand,- very punctual.

For a basic hotel with no frills this is a good choice that I have used a couple of times. Location is very central which means that it is convenient to go out at night for dinner, especially when the hotel restaurant is closed as it was throughout my stay. Relatively quiet which is great when travelling on business instead of pleasure

Very central to the nightlife, lots and pubs and clubs beside the hotel. Would recommend for couples and groups.

Dear Sir,

Five friends and I stayed overnight at the Hibernian last night. We were having a reunion under sad circumstances as one of our party is critically ill and it was her birthday. Not only was your hotel stylish, welcoming (with open fire) and scrupulously clean, the exceptional staff made the trip memorable. Any special requests were met with enthusiasm and a smile, a disappearing custom……from the welcoming reception staff, to the breakfast and bar staff, to the lady polishing the brasses and most exceptionally of Ross the night porter, whose assistance made the evening one we shall always treasure….It was a special time for us and one cross word could have spolied it…but we needen’t have worried at the Hibernian…the staff happy in their work ensures that the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble….

We shall all return and moreover will be highly recommending it to friends….

Congratulations to you all….Irelands tourism industry needs more hotels like yours…………
